Just curious....Would quoting a clearly insulting comment be itself a breach of the civility guidelines? I feel an urge to comment about something I just read on the med board, but I'm uncomfortable about quoting it, and my comment might not be fully understood if I don't.

Language that could offend others I'd rather not have quoted "as is", but I think it should be OK to quote comments that might be considered uncivil in for other reasons.
