**Yes, ozone is poisonous is quantity and even in small quantities is noxious. I can't take the smell of even a little and feel my lungs seize up. Ozone production is a typical way of creating negative ions but there are other methods combined with ozone so that ozone is real tiny.I've been doing a fair amount of research on air purifiers and the best so far is Vision. Here's a website with info, but you can probably get cheaper prices elsewhere.

Hello linky,
Yes you are right ozone is poisonous, the elanra is supposed to produce a massive concentration of ions without ozone production.
It is the only one I can find that produces sufficient to have a mood enhancing effect.
It is NOT an air cleaner, these are ok if you suffer from hay fever but no good for ion production.
When I find one that is less than $6-700 I will definitely get one.Glenn
