Any reason why SAM-e would work better with Lith?

I have noticed that both times I have taken
SAM-e while also taking Lithium the response was much much better than when I took SAM-e whithout being on Lithium. Is there any scientific basis for this or is it just coincidence? Any thoughts would be appreciated
