Goodbye to my fur-babies

Posted by Shar on October 16, 2007, at 18:11:23

I wanted to memorialize my fur-babies here, all of whom have died in the last year...three of them one after another. I'm now without any babies at all. They all were so loving (well, maybe not Finn the cat, but he was mainly playing) even when I was not at my best.

Their loss has thrown me back down into--well, wherever that dark place is that I go.

I love you with my whole heart, babies, and you will never be far from me. I'll see you in puppy/kitty heaven.

Shar your loss is enormous. Your grief is shared.

Was honoured to have met most of them before they left here...even Finn the beastie cat.

Much love and prayers and support for y'all down there.

You're never truly alone...please remember that there are many who care and would do anything to assist however, whenever, or wherever possible.

Your goodbye to your fur-babies is beautiful. So sorry that you've had to say goodbye = (

Zenny,
Thank you so much for your kind words and love. I am very happy you got to meet most of our babies! Wasn't Shadow the momma everybody wants?

I miss them all terribly, and we can't even talk about them without crying around here. We start off ok, laughing about the silly and strange things they did :) but, it just ends in tears.

Oh, well.

xoxo
Shar

I'm so sorry you lost your fur babies. Each time one of mine passes, I'm never quite the same. The grief is so personal, and most people don't ever get how deep it can go.

You will see them again.

Take good care of yourself. I'll be thinking about you.

Seldom.

>>> Thank you so much for your kind words and love. I am very happy you got to meet most of our babies! Wasn't Shadow the momma everybody wants? <<<

Shadow was your rock through almost all you've gone through. She's the one most needed during grief like this. = ( If possible would send this stinky hound down for grief therapy and a vacation from boring life here in zenland.

>>>I miss them all terribly, and we can't even talk about them without crying around here. We start off ok, laughing about the silly and strange things they did :) but, it just ends in tears.<<<

of course you miss them terribly....even when they were terrible! ;) the laughter and tears are a healthy was to let out the pain that accompanies such losses. that the funny stories are being told shows the love that y'all had as a pack.

takes a while to get used to the two person pack as usually animals are the reason to be a pack. besides universal health care there needs to be universal animal companionship assistance for those of us w/ mental health issues.

do not remain w/o animals for too long. you'll know when time is right...or else another animal will show up when time is right.

until then deepest condolences for all your losses. much love to you and yours,
zennykins

Thanks, Seldom. I know what you're talking about--people not understanding. When I lost my precious soul-fur-baby (Scruffles) people totally did not get why I was crying at work for weeks on end.

I appreciate your good thoughts.

My babies two pups are in urns next to my bed with their first leases, dog tags, and first toys and when I die they will be buried with me as they understand when a human doesn't and can't and the love you unconditionally. Google Rainbows Bride about the fourth one down is set to music you will never be the same if you see and hear it. I't my dream to again meet with them across Rainbow's Bridge. I dream of that nightly. Phillipa
