Hmm. What about yoga or pilates? I don't think they are really cardio but they are low impact. Cycling is low impact and cardio.
I am assuming here that the trouble with your back is the result of high impact exercise. Jumping and running and so forth. If it is not then my misunderstanding - sorry.

Where are all you Alternative believers out there? How many have found a satisfactory form of excercise which relaxes you and makes you feel good. Phillipa

I do Yoga, swim , Tai Chi and also I kickbox and do weights you may want to also try this thread on the alternative boards more posters may see it who are into things that are more low impact and alternative..say like Tai Chi and yoga
