After TWO years of chronic sickness and over a gazillion ( that is a word right? my 7 year old thinks it is) different diagnosis ( more like different "guesses")..
I FINALLY found out for DEFINITE what is wrong.
I have stinkin' Lyme's disease.
They called it "chronic Lyme's."
What's the difference in regular and chronic?
Anyway.
It does explain many, many things- the depression that started this whole downhill spiral of health problems for me, etc..
All from a tiny bug the size of my fingernail!!!
Imagine that????
I will be going through extensive treatment- not STANDARD treatment either.
We are talking 6-12 months worth of treatment.
If I will feel better, it will be worth it. The last month, I have been so sick ( physically) that I have been in and out of the hospital and my husband has literally been my caretaker ( keep in mind, I am not yet 30 years old- this man should not be helping me with a bed pan just yet!). lol
I have missed you all! Hopefully you remember me!

srpiggy that's great to finally have a definitive answer for your health woes. at least there is treatment!

Spriggy I missed this I have it too. I can tell you the difference. Chronic means it is not new that you got it and didn't know it you didn't have the classic signs either did I the bulls eye rash and didn't know you had a tick. And unfortunately for whatever reason they only think you can get it in the Eastern US where I'm from especially CT. So who knows How long I had it? The rest you know But what did they or are they treating you with I get a newsletter daily and if your e-mail is correct the same still I send it to you. Love Jan
