eDiets isn't really that great. You can find all the tools they have for free online. I'm not impressed. Their message boards don't seem that helpful either. Public boards are way more active.
However, spending money might actually force me to follow their diet plan. The good thing is that their diet plan is fairly healthy, I think it's based on the food pyramid. I'm going to follow their plan because I'm spending money on this. It cost about $18 for one month. I have to stick with it for 3 months or else pay an early termination fee of $25. So I'm actually paying $54 for 3 months. If this works and I lose weight slowly and healthily, then I think it's worth it. I think my battle is mostly psychological. Perhaps paying for this will commit me to the plan. I'm committed to following this healthy way of eating for 3 months. Hopefully I will lose some weight.
