I have been on Effexor for depression and anixety and gained 40 pounds in 6 months. This has only made my depression worse. My doctor is now changing me to Lexapro, but I am concerned of the anixety side effects. Are they like full blown panic attacks? I went through that before I got medicated and would really rather not travel down that road again. Any advice about what to expect would be helpful. No one in my family has had experience with depression before and I do not have anyone to discuss my concerns with.
