I'm posting to you in the hope that you will find a way to stay here at Babble safely and comfortably. It would be an enormous loss for us if you left, You have so much to offer all of us, and, although we haven't had the degree of training that you have, I do feel that we have understanding and empathy to offer- being, in various ways, in the same boat that you are.
My own view is that this is, in a way, a sacred space. We are free to share our deepest hopes, longings, and fears here. So many of us have revealed interactions which have gone on in our therapies which we would probably not share anywhere else., and we have all received support and hope from people who have really wonderful understanding and judgement. If this weren't so, I wouldn't come here. But there is another side to participating in a sacred space like this. The information is supposed to stay here. If babblers e-mail one another, their real names will be known, unless they have set up an anonymous account. Any information we e-mail to one another should NEVER be mentioned to anyone else- no matter how general or positive it may be. It should be handled with complete privacy. It looks as though that's what happened to you- what should have remained private was mentioned to a third person. I would be extremely upset if this happened to me.
I am so sorry this happened to you. But I do really hope you'll find a way to stay!
