planes of reality

Posted by rjlockhart37 on July 21, 2016, at 21:53:26

i've been having vivid dreams, and i don't know how to explain it, its like a diffrent plane of reality.....i know dreams obviously go other places through the imagination, but some of the dreams i've been having are so specific, there's no way my random imagination would create these story lines

it's like the mind creates diffrent reality feelings in a dream.....like a person wakes up and goes to work, and see's reality as day by day, but iwth this abilitiy to feel your in another relm ..... this is how artists and people writing books can do this, getting into another plane of reality above the average day to day life.....

Dreams and other hallucinatory states illustrate that the brain is perfectly capable of creating elaborate fully detailed reality simulations.

Yes, waking life is another dream, it's just more tethered to actual sensory input instead of free-running based on memory and imagination

Yes, very insightful. Fiction writers must have easier access to the reality-simulation generator. My brain doesn't work that way. I can write all day long but never fictional worlds.

Same with visual artists, I think they just access the visual image generator more easily. I used to be able to do all kinds of drawings sort of automatically. It doesn't happen any more.

Do you do creative stuff? Write, draw, music, etc?

no....i don't do writing, but what i do is ill listen to music, spotify.....and the songs i let them take me away into diffrent states of mind, when i was a kid... my perception was totally different, like i was in part of a dream, i know obviously of course people change from their childhood but .... when i was a kid i viewed reality like a cartoon movie, everyone was like a cartoon character, and reality was a cartoon timeline.....how i saw things was totally different... then i got to my 20s and foundation'd my perception of how i see things

i'm not socially active right now, i go to school and classes, but when i listen to music and think about things it changes the way i see things.....i think about things to change....

i want to create reality.....i see things everyday so bland, eat....talk to people, it's boring, i want to like expand my mind to see deep aspects, having the reality planes i have in my dreams and bring them into this reality .... it's like being in a diffrent deminsion, seeing things from a diffrent viewpoint, but also on a diffrent plane of reality.....
