I only tried Amisulpride for a couple weeks before my supply ran out. During that time I realized it was an "alerting" drug, not at all sedating. So I can see how it might be useful for chronic fatigue. Side effects were practically nothing. A slight bit of insomnia maybe. That's about all.

I wish we had Amisulpride in USA. I think it's a wonderful and safe medicine. I can't find a doctor to prescribe it, because they all say their liability companies won't allow them to, since it's not FDA approved in USA. The doctors are willing, but their liability companies are saying no-no. What a bunch of bull. In the meantime, I did some serious net searching of German pharmacies and actually dug one up that will supply me Amisulpride no problem. But I have a new phychiatrist to meet with in 3 weeks, so I'm kind of on-hold till then.

I'm just rambling. But yes, Amisulpride could be good for chronic fatigue and it had practically no side effects with me in the 50mg to 100mg dose range. JohnL
